This morning in my way to the office I noted an unusual amount of traffic, and opened Waze on my phone to trace an alternate route to get on time to the office (spoiler alert: it worked) and since I haven’t found any phone mount that I particularly like, I set the phone on the cupholder and cranked the volume to the max to hear the directions to where and when to turn.
Then I realized, that there’s a market opportunity of an android app that takes whatever information Waze gives and converts it to rally pace notes and reads them aloud for those of us who don’t like to focus our sight on the screen but on the road instead.
I looked everywhere I could imagine for this and haven’t really found anything, closest I can remember are the voice packs that you could download for NDrive, which is a good GPS app, but doesn’t have real time traffic report and re-plan routes based on that (at least not for Mexico)
So anyone with the might and magic to do this digital voodoo or a recommendation for an alternative?
